"And if..." is our perspective of the short story "Tell the Women We’re Going" by Raymond Carver. The story is narrated in the third person and it's about two friends, Bill and Jerry, who at a very young age have already a family, a standard job which is strongly opposed to what they were a couple of years before, which makes Jerry miserable. Carver is known for having open endings, but at the same time, he gives the reader some hints of what could have might have happened. We wanted to keep this style and trying to focus on the introspective and sometimes abstract representation of the protagonist's apathy.
